In light of what has been happening with Wall Street and other financial institution around the world, it is time to error on the side of caution. What am I talking about? I am talking dangerous people and scams.

We hear of 1,000′s of people being layed off every day. When people are out of work, looking for ways to make next month mortgage or car payment, they will drop their morals to make the money. This could mean losing our hard earned money through identity theft or a scam.

If a website has not been referred to me by a someone I know, then I will not go to it. There are three basic rules of safety I use, and I tell everyone I know.

  1. I am not saying not to go on the internet a look for that good deal. I am saying know the reputation of the individual who are running the website. Have assurances that what you are comminting to will produce the desired results.
  2. I have gotten tired of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) people who promise me a million hits on my website per day for a few thousand dollars. When I ask for verifiable numbers to what I am going to get as a return on my investment, they start to side track like a skillful politician.
  3. There are skillful web designer who can make phony website that appear just like the geniune. That is why I never click on a link from my email. I go to my banks website by typing it in my browser’s address bar.
